About

Codex for Linux and friends builds a private Linux runtime from an official Codex App DMG. It does not redistribute the OpenAI app and is not supported by OpenAI. The compatibility layer is experimental and can break when upstream app internals change. The local Flatpak build grants home-directory access so Codex can open the projects you choose. Treat generated bundles as private local artifacts.
