About
NetLogo is a modeling environment for simulating natural and social phenomena. Give simple rules to thousands of independent agents, press go, and watch the patterns that emerge from their interaction. It is simple enough for a classroom and capable enough for research, and has been used to study everything from flocking birds and traffic jams to epidemics, markets and chemical reactions. The Models Library ships hundreds of ready-made simulations you can run, take apart and rewrite. This package includes: - NetLogo, the modeling environment - NetLogo 3D, for modeling in three dimensions - HubNet Client, for participatory classroom simulations - BehaviorSearch, for searching model parameter spaces NetLogo was created by Uri Wilensky in 1999 and is developed at the Center for Connected Learning and Computer-Based Modeling. This is LogoPak, an unofficial community package of it, with no affiliation to Northwestern University or the Center.
