Ariadne
by Luis Tineo
A reading companion that never shows you past your bookmark
About
Ariadne reads a book you already own and builds the cast as you read it. Move the bookmark to the chapter you are on and everything is clipped to that point: who you have met, who you have not seen for a while, who tends to be in the room with whom, and where the book has been. The spoiler rule is structural rather than a filter. Every view is built from the chapters behind your position, so there is no later data waiting in the page to be revealed by a bug. Nothing is asserted that cannot be proved. Two names may be one person or two, and Ariadne proposes only what it can show and asks you to rule; the same is true of where a chapter is set. Your rulings live in a plain file you can read, edit, or hand to somebody else. It makes no network request and keeps no account. Two optional commands need an API key of your own; nothing else does.
