About
A read-only viewer for spreadsheet-sized data. It reads CSV — plain, gzipped, or streamed from a URL — and nothing else, which is why it opens ten gigabytes as fast as ten megabytes. Opening is proportional to the size of your screen, not the size of your file: it reads only the rows it is about to draw. A ten gigabyte file of a hundred and thirty-five million rows costs under three megabytes of memory and appears in about a sixth of a second. What it does: - Find, filter and jump across the whole file without loading it - Change the separator, quoting and encoding on the fly - Read gzipped CSV without unpacking it first - Stream a file over HTTP without downloading all of it - Copy cells, rows or a filtered view to the clipboard It never writes to the files you open, sends no telemetry, and needs no account.
