MyTag is a simple, focused tag and cover art editor for FLAC and MP3 music files on Linux. Load a single file or a whole folder of albums at once, see everything in a clean list, and edit as many tracks together as you like — MyTag always shows you when the selected tracks disagree on a value, so you never overwrite something by accident. Features: - Edit Title, Artist, Album, Album Artist, Year, Genre, Track Number and Disc Number, for one or many files at once (FLAC Vorbis Comments and MP3 ID3v2.4) - Pick a cover image from your computer, paste one from the clipboard, drag and drop it onto the app, or search for one online (MusicBrainz and iTunes) right from the app - Resize covers to any size you choose, keeping their original proportions (or matched to a square when the selected tracks have different covers) - Rename files from their tags with a configurable pattern, preserving original file extensions - Identify an untagged or mislabeled track by audio fingerprint (AcoustID) - Check file stream integrity, and fill in missing covers across a whole loaded library - A per-track indicator flags anything missing a cover, year or genre - Quickly auto-number a set of tracks, or revert unsaved changes back to what's on disk - Search and filter a large list of loaded tracks - Light, dark, or system-matched theme, and an adjustable interface scale - Available in Spanish, English and Catalan - Nothing is written to disk until you choose to save MyTag focuses purely on tags and cover art — no playback, no library management, just a clean way to get your audio collection's metadata right.
