LocalVocal is an OBS Studio plugin providing real-time AI-powered speech-to-text transcription and translation. It runs entirely on your local machine — no cloud services, no API keys, and no data ever leaves your computer. Features include: - Real-time transcription of audio to text in over 100 languages using OpenAI Whisper - Local neural machine translation powered by CTranslate2 - On-screen caption display via OBS text sources - Export captions to SRT/TXT files or embed as WebVTT in a stream - Voice Activity Detection (VAD) to reduce false transcriptions - Support for custom and fine-tuned Whisper models in GGML format - GPU acceleration on NVIDIA (CUDA), AMD (ROCm) and Apple Silicon (Metal)
