About

CrossHook is a native Linux launcher for Windows game trainers. It discovers Steam libraries across every mounted drive, matches trainers to their target games, and coordinates the launch of both the game (via Proton or Wine) and the trainer so they share a prefix, wine server, and runtime environment. Features: - Automatic Steam library discovery, including external drives - Per-profile Proton / GE-Proton selection and download manager - Community trainer tap support with git-backed updates - ProtonDB and SteamGridDB integration - Optional network isolation via user namespaces for untrusted trainers - Gamescope wrapper and Steam Deck friendly layout CrossHook itself is a native Linux application. It orchestrates Proton/Wine to launch Windows executables — it does not run under Wine or Proton.
