About

wt keeps every worktree of a git repository in one predictable place — a sibling directory named repo.worktrees — and makes creating, renaming and removing worktrees painless. Removing a worktree never deletes its branch, and wt says so at every step. Uncommitted changes are listed before removal with an explicit choice: stash them (recoverable later) or discard them. Worktrees created outside the convention with plain git are detected and can be moved into place with one click.

Permissions

2 permissions weaken the sandbox. Flatsonar asks before installing.

  • sandbox escape: can run commands on the host via flatpak-spawn
    --talk-name=org.freedesktop.Flatpak
  • full access to your home folder
    --filesystem=home
  • Wayland display
    --socket=wayland
  • X11 display, only when Wayland is unavailable
    --socket=fallback-x11
  • inter-process communication (needed for X11)
    --share=ipc
  • GPU acceleration
    --device=dri
