Crimson Steam Pirates

Linux port of the 2011 naval combat strategy game (bring your own IPA)

About

A native Linux runtime for Crimson Steam Pirates, the 2011 iPhone-only turn-based naval combat game by Bungie / Harebrained Schemes, built on the MOAI SDK. This application contains no game assets. On first launch it asks you to supply your own copy of the original .ipa (archived at the Internet Archive) and rebuilds the playable game from it on your machine. This is the same "bring your own game data" model used by ScummVM and other engine reimplementations.

1 permission weaken the sandbox. Flatsonar asks before installing.

Who publishes this

Something concrete is wrong: the id claims a namespace this repository does not own, or the build does things a build should not. Flatsonar warns twice.

  • io.github.csp_restore.CrimsonSteamPirates claims the io.github.csp_restore namespace but is hosted by github.com/maxwell-lewis and does not build the owner's code
    publisher:namespace
