Study Calculator
by Danil Chernyshev
Physics, chemistry, symbolic math, vectors and a unit converter, with learning materials
About
Study Calculator is a desktop study aid for high-school and early undergraduate science. Pick a formula, fill in every field but one, and it computes the missing quantity — solving for any variable. It covers: - Physics — mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, and waves & optics - Chemistry — a periodic table, molar mass, equation balancing, and solution/acid-base formulas - Symbolic math (CAS) — simplify, expand, factor, differentiate, integrate, series, and solve, with step-by-step explanations - Vectors — 2-D and 3-D magnitude, dot and cross products, angles and projections - A unit converter across length, mass, time, energy, pressure, force, temperature and angle Every problem shows built-in learning material — key terms, useful formulas, a step-by-step method and a worked example. Physics, Math and Chemistry each add a Problems tab of worked practice questions you reveal at your own pace, and topics carry an Ontario curriculum badge (MCR3U, MHF4U, MCV4U, MDM4U, SPH4U, SCH4U). The interface is localized in English, Spanish, French, Russian and Ukrainian, switchable at runtime. The app is fully keyboard-operable with screen-reader (ARIA) support, and checks GitHub Releases for updates on startup — never updating silently.
