Friendly health check for your Steam Deck
About
deckcheck tells you, in plain English, whether your Steam Deck is healthy, and what to do about it if something is off. No terminal required. Press one button and it checks the things that actually matter: temperature, processor activity, disk activity, free storage, battery health, the program using your disk the most, and KDE's file indexer (a common cause of a warm, busy Deck at idle). Each result is colour-coded and explained in everyday language. When something needs attention, deckcheck doesn't just say "investigate", it explains what the thing is, gives step-by-step guidance, and where it's safe, offers a one-click fix. Every fix asks you to confirm first, tells you how to undo it, and only ever does safe, reversible things.

1 permission weaken the sandbox. Flatsonar asks before installing.
