About

ZX Next Unite combines the everyday tools a ZX Spectrum Next owner needs on the PC side, in one place: - SD Card Utility — mount HDF disk images, browse them in a dual local/image explorer, upload and download content, then launch the CSpect or MAME emulator. - NextSync server — push files to a real Next over Wi-Fi with Jari Komppa's NextSync protocol, including the two-way Sync4 extension and a full Remote Explorer file manager for the Next's SD card. - Online browsing — search and preview freely-distributable ZX Spectrum software from GetIt (zxnext.uk), ZXDB (zxinfo.dk) and zxArt (zxart.ee), and send it straight to an SD image or to the Next. A curated one-click starter pack fills a fresh card with hand-picked modern homebrew. - Wizzy, an animated onboarding wizard, plus a UI translated into seven languages. Note: inside the Flatpak sandbox the app manages images and syncs files as usual; launching external emulators installed on the host is limited.
