About

ViewFree opens an image and gets out of the way. It starts in a fraction of a second, arrow keys move through the folder with no waiting, and the picture fills the window instead of a wall of toolbars. Underneath it has the batch tools people normally reach for a much heavier program to get: convert a folder to another format, resize by percentage or longest side, rename hundreds of files using a pattern built from counters, capture dates and EXIF fields, strip location data before sharing, or add a watermark. Every batch job shows you exactly what it will do before it does anything, and never touches your originals unless you explicitly ask it to. Formats it reads: - Photographs: JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, HEIC/HEIF, TIFF, BMP - Animation: animated GIF, animated WebP, APNG - Vector and icons: SVG, ICO - Camera raw: CR2, CR3, NEF, ARW, DNG, ORF, RW2, RAF, PEF, SRW and more - Others: QOI, PNM/PPM, TGA, DDS, Radiance HDR No ads, no telemetry, no accounts, no paid tiers. It does not phone home and it never will.
