A classic 68k Macintosh emulator
About
Basilisk II is an Open Source 68k Macintosh emulator, that is, it enables you to run 68k Mac OS software on you computer, even if you are using a different operating system. The latest version of MacOS that can run on Basilisk II is MacOS 8.1. PLEASE NOTE that Basilisk II does not include a copy of MacOS or a Macintosh ROM. You will need to supply your own copy of the operating system or installation disk as well as a ROM file extracted from a 68k-based Macintosh computer (not a PowerPC one!)
