About
RustyLens is a lightweight, open-source OCR tool for the Linux desktop. Open an image or capture a screenshot, and RustyLens extracts the text using Tesseract — with bounding-box overlays and drag-to-select word copying, similar to Google Lens. Features include: - OCR text extraction with support for 100+ languages - Drag-to-select words on the image with Ctrl+C to copy - Bounding-box overlay highlighting recognised words - Screenshot capture mode via XDG Desktop Portal - Language selector with auto-detection of installed Tesseract packs
