About

ShellBar is a terminal emulator for Linux that adds a programmable command toolbar. Instead of remembering and retyping long commands across monorepos, configure one-click buttons. Built on Ghostty's VT engine (libghostty-vt) with GTK4 + libadwaita for a dark, modern appearance. - Configurable toolbar with command buttons from ~/.config/shellbar/config - Multiple tabs with dynamic titles - Command palette (Ctrl+P) with shell history and PATH search - Inline ghost-text autocomplete from shell history - Terminal search (Ctrl+F) with real-time match navigation - Font zoom (Ctrl+= / Ctrl+-) with zoom level indicator - Configurable button bar position: top / bottom / left / right - Hot-reload config via SIGHUP
