About

ProtonDrive Linux Client is an unofficial, open-source desktop sync client for ProtonDrive, built with GTK4 and Libadwaita. It uses Proton's official @protontech/drive-sdk — the same SDK Proton uses for their own CLI — ensuring long-term API compatibility. Authenticate with your Proton account through an embedded browser window with full 2FA support. Set up one or more local folders to sync with ProtonDrive, with two-way sync, conflict detection, and automatic conflict copies. The client handles real-world failure modes: offline change queuing with replay on reconnect, token expiry recovery without data loss, and actionable errors for disk full, permission denied, inotify limit exceeded, and file locked conditions.
