About

Glypdl is a fast, native GTK4/libadwaita download manager that interfaces seamlessly with yt-dlp. Designed for modern GNOME desktop environments, it offers rich download controls, format selection, network throughput metrics, download queuing, playlist batch management, and complete download history tracking. Features include: - Native GNOME/libadwaita look and feel with dark/light mode support - Audio-only, Video-only, and Video+Audio download modes - Interactive YouTube playlist downloading with selective checkboxes - Smooth real-time network throughput and ETA calculations - Concurrent download queue management - History tracking powered by a local SQLite database - Saved Netscape cookie profiles and authentication recovery dialog - Zero web wrappers or heavy runtimes
