Deckboy is a native application for video engineers, AV technicians and live operators who need a reliable way to organise media, trigger cues, loop content and send video to production displays. When the lights go down, playback has to be right, and that is the job the interface is built around. Media is arranged as a playlist of cues with fades, loops and hold-last-frame behaviour, sent to dedicated fullscreen outputs. Each output has its own area of interest, edge feathering and warp or keystone correction, so several projectors can be driven from one machine. The same machine usually solves the other problems on the day as well. It speaks NDI, SRT, RTMP, SMPTE ST 2110, Blackmagic SDI, LTC timecode, OSC, Art-Net and NMOS, and several outputs can run at once, so an NDI source can reach SDI and a stream at the same time. Also included: - Convert media that will not play, without leaving the application - Inspect any file for codec, raster, frame rate, channels and duration - Generate test patterns and a test card to prove a signal chain end to end - Capture a camera, a window or a screen and treat it as a cue - Normalise loudness to EBU R128 when a clip arrives mastered too quietly - Import PDF, PowerPoint and Keynote decks as one cue per slide, with presenter and prompter views available as output types - Drive playback from a Stream Deck, Bitfocus Companion, OSC, MIDI or timecode
