About
Apache JMeter may be used to test performance both on static and dynamic resources, Web dynamic applications.
It can be used to simulate a heavy load on a server, group of servers, network or object to test its strength or to analyze overall performance under different load types.
Flatpak version have this changes:
- Open and save JMX files: the user Documents folder (use Flatseal to allow acces to other folders)
- Plugins directory: ~/.var/app/org.apache.jmeter/data/jmeter/lib/ext/
- User configuration: ~/.var/app/org.apache.jmeter/config/jmeter/user.properties
- Application log: ~/.var/app/org.apache.jmeter/.local/state/jmeter/jmeter.log
Permissions
1 permission weaken the sandbox. Flatsonar asks before installing.
- X11 display: X11 lets apps read input and windows of other apps
--socket=x11 - network
--share=network - inter-process communication (needed for X11)
--share=ipc - access to your documents folder
--filesystem=xdg-documents
