About

Gajim aims to be an easy to use and fully-featured XMPP client. Just chat with your friends or family, easily share pictures and thoughts or discuss the news with your groups.

  • Chat freely: Take your chats where you want. Use a provider of your choice and synchronize chats between all your devices. Gajim is interoperable with many other chat apps – and it's free.
  • Secured conversations: State of the art end-to-end encryption for your conversations. Share messages, pictures, and files with your contacts – and only with them.
  • Stay in contact: Chats and groups help you keep in touch with your friends and family. Build communities by connecting to people with the same interests. Use groups to organize the little things or the next big event.
  • Express yourself: Sometimes words are not enough. Use reactions, replies, record voice messages, and send status updates to fully express yourself.
