Kvit Notes
by Kvit Notes project
Native markdown block editor with live preview, math, and diagrams
About
Kvit Notes is a native C++/Qt markdown notes app. Text renders as you write, and markdown syntax reveals itself only where the cursor is. It stores everything as plain markdown files in ordinary folders. Features include: - Hybrid live-preview editing: syntax hides when rendered, reveals at the cursor - A full block palette: headings, lists, todos, quotes, code, tables, kanban boards, callouts, toggles, images, media, embeds - LaTeX math with live rendering - Mermaid diagrams rendered natively, editable by dragging on the diagram - ASCII-diagram repair for pasted terminal art - A notes collection with folders, tags, global full-text search, wiki-links, and backlinks - Export to HTML, PDF, and plain text - No telemetry, no accounts, no database: files are the truth
