About
Vinyl is a simple and elegant adwaita music player, which aims to provide a simple codebase for developers, while simple users get the same or more features as in other music players. Flawless integrated with the GNOME desktop, Vinyl provides a simple user-friendly interface, MPRIS support, lyrics support and more. Vinyl is the first player with a good lyrics (.lrc) support.
Features include:
- A very simple, user-friendly interface inspired by Amberol.
- Music playback powered by GStreamer.
- Lyrics displayed as a list, like a ListView.
- MPRIS support to control Vinyl from other applications.
- A fully responsive interface built with GTK and Libadwaita.
- Full support for the mobile form factor.
- Play music in the background.
- Mono audio mode for music playback.
